Dear Newport Beach Neighbor,
Thank you for visiting my website.
Our city council incumbent recently voted for a housing plan that allows developers to build 15,000 to 20,000 high-density apartments in Newport Beach – adding 35,000 more residents and 25,000 more vehicles to our already overcrowded streets.
Worse, the incumbent ignored our City Charter and took away Newport Beach residents’ right to vote on their housing plan!
As your new City Councilman, I will oppose the incumbent’s developer giveaway housing plan and I will support your right to vote on housing and development projects.
My priorities include:
Reducing Homelessness: Support a humane approach that expands job training and housing resources while requiring medical treatment for mentally ill and drug-addicted homeless individuals.
Protecting Public Safety: Support our Newport Beach Police. Endorse Proposition 36 to reform permissive state laws and stop organized ‘smash and grab’ robberies.
On a personal note, I’m a 26-year full-time resident of Newport Beach and was honored to serve as our District 5 City Councilman from 2016 to 2020.
You deserve a Councilman who will put your interests ahead of greedy developers who don’t care about our community’s special quality of life.
I respectfully ask for your vote. Please contact me at 949-922-3594.
